There are several different types of materials for hydraulic pump parts, each with its own characteristics and advantages, as follows:
1. Cast iron material
Cast iron material is a common material for hydraulic pump parts because of its low cost and easy production and processing. Cast iron materials are usually gray cast iron and ductile iron. They both have high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, and are suitable for hydraulic pumps under conventional pressure and flow requirements.
2. Stainless steel material
Stainless steel material is suitable for hydraulic pumps under corrosive media, high temperature or high pressure conditions due to its strong corrosion resistance, good toughness and good fatigue resistance. Stainless steel material can also ensure the long-term stable operation of hydraulic pumps, and is not prone to mechanical failure and leakage.
3. Cemented carbide material
Cemented carbide material has extremely high hardness and wear resistance, and is usually used in parts of hydraulic pump parts that require high strength, high speed, high pressure or high temperature. Cemented carbide materials are usually used in the impeller, pump body and pump shaft of hydraulic pumps.
